Add Sections to NoFA / RFP
Sections are the main description and instructions for the public NoFA / RFP notice.
If a NoFA / RFP has an LOI phase, each section will have an additional option to specify at which phase the questions should be answered. The options are LOI only, Application only or Both.
Select the “Sections” tab.
Select the “add section” link. DD Suite will add each new section to the end, but you can re-order them using the up and down action links.
Enter a title describing the project to be funded (i.e. Required Activities etc.)
In the “Section Description” field, enter requirements such as everything the applicant must accomplish if they are awarded the grant, as well as what the application or LOI must include.
If the NoFA has a Letter of Interest phase, you will see the field labeled "Scope". Select the appropriate phase(s) for the section. If there is no LOI phase, the scope field will not be shown.
Sections can contain html. Here are instructions for inserting a hyperlink from a word document into your section instructions using http://google.com as an example. "http://google.com " will be seen by the user as a link, and the behind-the-scenes URL is "https://www.google.com/ ".
Copy/type the text you want to display: http://google.com
Get the URL – either right click on the link in word and Copy Hyperlink, or follow the link (Ctrl Click) and copy the URL from the browser: https://google.com/
Insert these two things into the following string: <a href="https://www.google.com/ " target=”_blank”>http://google.com </a>
This should look like google.com, and open a google page in a new browser tab.
Select the “Save” button to save your progress.
After adding a section, you may choose to edit, move or remove it by selecting one of the action links.
If the NoFA has an LOI phase, you will also see a scope column, indicating in which phase(s) the section will be used.
