Grantee Modifications Requested
Clarifying Application Responses to a Request for Modifications
If modifications are requested to an application that you have submitted, an e-mail will be sent with instructions on how to proceed. The status of the application will change to Mods Requested and it will appear as one of your Notifications on the Dashboard under the “Applications” subheading.
On your Dashboard, select the “Applications” button.
Identify the application that you wish to modify in the Task List.
Or Select the Application Module and select the appropriate “Project Title” link to edit that application.
The reviewer’s comments will appear in a yellow text box under the section for which clarifications were requested. Review each comment thoroughly and formulate a response that will meet the reviewer’s requirements.
*Note: The Application Overview page contains all of the modification information and you will have to then select the appropriate tabs to actually change your information. You can change only the area(s) specified by the Funding Organization. For example: the application may need a more detailed answer to Outline Question 1. When you navigate to the Outline, you will see that only question 1 is accessible through the EDIT link. Once you have made all of your changes, you can re-submit the application.
For each of the sections that have the text box, make the necessary clarifications to your application in order to make it acceptable to the Funding Organization and save your changes.
Select the "Summary" tab and review your entire application carefully before resubmitting.
Select the “Validate and Submit” button.
Review the Validation Results page. Errors (in red) will prevent you from submitting the application. Once you are ready, click on Submit Application at the bottom of the Validation Results page.
