Funding Organization Comments in Periodic Reports

A Funding Organization Comments field is available in Periodic Reports (for Grants and Activities) for both Programmatic and Expense Reports.

A Funding Organization can choose whether the grantees can view these fields via a Funding Organization Preference (under Administration). The preference is in the Grantee Access section, and is called Periodic Reporting Funding Organization Comment. The Funding Organization may choose either No Access or Read Only. The default is No Access, so if Funding Organizations want the grantees to view the fields, they will need to change this preference.

Activity Reports

Funding Organization staff can access the Funding Organization Comment field when a periodic report is In Progress or Not Started.

Grant Reports

Funding Organization staff can enter comments in the Funding Organization Comment field when a periodic report has been Submitted or Accepted. Modification instructions and the PPR Reporting date can also be edited when a periodic report has been Submitted or Accepted.

Grantees can never modify the comments field. They can view the field if the preference is set to Read Only.
